Butterscotch Babe

Whipped cream, salted popcorn, golden butterscotch and a gloriously messy caramel meringue nest – all layered up and unapologetically extra. Sweet teases salty, smooth meets crunch, and frankly, it’s all a bit outrageous.

(Serves: 2 (if you’re feeling generous) or 1 (if you’re honest with yourself)

 Ingredients:

  • 1 Caramel Meringue Nest
  • A big spoonful of whipped cream, mixed with chewy fudge pieces
  • Butterscotch sauce
  • A handful of salted popcorn
  • A scattering of toffee popcorn
  • Extra sauce to finish (because why not?)

 

Putting it together:

  1. Place your caramel meringue nest on a plate or in a bowl
  2. Pour a little butterscotch sauce into the centre of the nest. Let it pool.
  3. Dollop on whipped cream (fudge bits fully involved).
  4. Scatter popcorn on top – half salted, half toffee, all drama.
  5. Finish with an extra drizzle of sauce, and maybe a fudge piece or two for good luck.
  6. Grab a spoon and crack straight in. This is not one for saving.
