Our Strawberry Meringue Nests play host to silky cream, drizzles of pistachio, and little gems of Turkish delight.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 2 The Glorious Mess Strawberry Meringue Nests
- 150ml double cream
- 1 tsp edible dried rose petals (plus a pinch extra for garnish)
- 4–5 fresh strawberries, diced
- 6–8 cubes Turkish delight (rose flavour works beautifully)
- 2 tbsp pistachio cream
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
Putting it together:
The night before:
- Whip your double cream until it’s holding soft peaks
- Gently fold in the rose petals. Cover and pop it in the fridge to infuse overnight. (The flavour deepens into something dreamy.)
On the day:
- Place your Strawberry Meringue Nests on serving plates and spoon over a generous dollop of your rose-infused cream. Sprinkle on a few extra petals for decoration.
- Warm your pistachio cream in the microwave for 10–15 seconds until it’s just pourable, and drizzle over the whipped cream.
- Tumble over your diced strawberries and scatter the Turkish delight cubes.
- Shower with chopped pistachios - no polite sprinkling here, we mean a proper flourish.
- Finish with one last indulgent drizzle of pistachio cream and serve immediately.
